2010 was an exciting year for Herro Hachi because there were a lot of firsts!

First time joining Twitter (@herrohachi)… yes, this was a big step for me as I was resisting it for the longest time! Now I actually regret not joining sooner! :P
First time meeting amazing local artists who I now consider friends… Kukubee, The Tiny Fig, Hamburger Disco, Lemon Pie, a Cagey Bee, SWFDS, and many many more!
One of the biggest and most exciting challenges for me was when I participated in the One of a Kind Show for the first time. The One of a Kind show is one of the biggest Christmas shows here in Vancouver and since I was a newbie, I was in the Rising Stars section. In previous shows I joined, I had at least an 8ft table or a 10×5 booth but this time… I didn’t even have a table, I just had a 3×3 space to fill. There was no height limit so I really had to be creative with my design and display! After searching everywhere, I decided on a storage unit from IKEA, some furniture from home, and a giant tree from a local wedding rental place.

It was a ton of fun being part of something BIG and I know that things can only get BIGGER from here!
