We had our first experience setting up shop outdoors last weekend and it was all sorts of crazy, stressful, fun, thrilling, and exciting. We’ve only ever attended the night market as customers (usually at the food stalls :P) so we really had no idea what to expect being on the other side of the booth this time.
After two hours of setting up all our tarp, banners, signage, and electricity, we were ready to go! We knew we would face a few challenges as most vendors at the night market sell small items at a lower price point so we weren’t surprised to hear a few “omg, this is so expensive” comments, but overall it was a great first experience. The few discouraging comments were far outweighed by the sound of laughter and people saying “Herro” all night long! Thank you all for coming by, it was so nice to meet new faces and to see old friends as well! You guys made it a truly unforgettable first time at the night market!
